At the 27th edition of Bangalore Fashion Week, LISAA School of Design Bangalore brought a student showcase shaped by clean lines, layered construction and a quiet tension between structure and softness.
Bengaluru, 17 October 2026 — LISAA School of Design Bangalore presented a student showcase on Day Three of the 27th edition of Bangalore Fashion Week, working with a palette of white, grey and black set against the event’s blue-lit runway. The collection moved between disciplined tailoring and fluid drape, creating looks that felt architectural yet restrained.
The menswear explored asymmetry and panelled construction. One look paired a white draped front with a grey shoulder and black trouser, finished with a belt-like detail at the waist. Another used a fitted grey top with short sleeves and white trousers interrupted by large grey patch pockets, giving the silhouette a utilitarian edge.
Across the womenswear, the collection turned to softer surfaces and elongated lines. A white halter dress fell straight from the neckline, worn with long gloves and a translucent blindfold-like accessory across the eyes. The styling introduced a sense of abstraction, while the clean cut of the dress kept the focus on form.
Feathered texture appeared in another look, where a white hooded layer framed the face and spread over the shoulders and upper body. The volume sat lightly over the frame, contrasting with the more precise garments in the sequence and adding a tactile dimension to the collection.
Throughout the showcase, the work balanced restraint with experimentation. The students used layering, contrast panels, soft drape and surface texture to build a collection that read as contemporary and considered, with each look contributing to a cohesive study in shape, movement and finish.
