At the 27th edition of Bangalore Fashion Week, Ethnic Fashion by Yogita Khare moved between vivid drapes, embroidered blouses and floral volumes. The looks carried a romantic palette shaped by saturated blues, pinks, yellow and black.
Bengaluru, 15 October 2026 — Ethnic Fashion by Yogita Khare brought a distinctly decorative mood to Day One of the 27th edition of Bangalore Fashion Week, with looks that balanced fluid drape and ornate surface work. The collection moved through a palette that shifted from electric blue to blush pink, yellow and black, each ensemble framed by soft, feminine movement.
One look paired a vivid blue layered skirt and draped silhouette with a richly embroidered blouse in jewel tones, the styling allowing the colour to hold the frame while the fabric moved in tiered folds. The effect was rooted in traditional craft language, yet rendered with a contemporary sense of volume and ease.
Elsewhere, floral references became more pronounced. A black blouse was set against a full skirt scattered with small pink blossoms, creating a darker, more grounded reading of the collection’s romantic thread. Against the runway’s floral backdrop, the look carried a garden-like stillness, with the skirt’s sweep giving the silhouette a soft, floating quality.
A pink ensemble continued the theme in a lighter register, combining a fitted, embellished blouse with a full skirt printed in delicate floral motifs. The waistband defined the shape before the skirt opened out in gentle structure, giving the outfit a polished, ceremonial feel.
The yellow look introduced a brighter note, with a heavily worked blouse and matching draped layers that fell with a sari-like fluidity. Across the showcase, the designer’s language remained consistent: ornate blouses, flowing skirts and colour-led dressing that drew on ethnic codes while keeping the silhouettes refined and runway-ready.
