Label Aaradhya by Srija Uppe turns to vivid colour and textile contrast at BFW Day Four
Label Aaradhya by Srija Uppe presented a collection shaped by saturated colour, woven texture and layered drape on Day Four of Bangalore Fashion Week’s 27th edition. The looks moved between folk-inflected richness and sharper monochrome tailoring.
Bengaluru, 18 October 2026 — Label Aaradhya by Srija Uppe brought a vivid textile language to Day Four of the 27th edition of Bangalore Fashion Week, with silhouettes that combined volume, structure and surface detail. Across the selection, colour carried the collection’s rhythm, shifting from jewel tones and warm metallics to crisp black-and-white contrasts.
One look paired a cropped blue blouse with a full skirt in red and gold, the hem finished with circular motifs that gave the ensemble a handcrafted, narrative quality. The blouse sat close to the body, while the skirt expanded into a broad, fluid shape, creating a strong balance between fitted and expansive lines.
Another ensemble worked with mustard checks and a red bodice, the drape extending into a long, translucent mustard dupatta with pale borders. The palette felt bright and festive, while the printed and woven elements introduced a layered, domestic richness. The silhouette remained graceful and wearable, with clean lines held together by the fall of the fabric.
The collection also moved into sari-inspired dressing with a yellow body and red border, framed by a contrasting red drape and striped detailing. The look carried a sense of movement through the pleated fall and the wrapped construction, while the metallic sheen of the fabric added depth under the runway lights.
A monochrome look brought a different register, using a white base with black borders and a sharply structured overlay in checks and stripes. The addition of dark buttons and linear panel placement gave the ensemble a more architectural edge, showing the label’s range beyond colour alone. Seen together, the looks suggested a collection rooted in textile heritage, translated through contemporary layering and a precise sense of proportion.
