Chandi Jadat Vastra by Pujara presents a study in drape, sheen and surface craft
At Bangalore Fashion Week’s 27th edition, Day Four brought a collection from Chandi Jadat Vastra by Pujara shaped by rich drape, jewel tones and intricate embellishment. The looks moved between structured blouses, fluid sarees and softly layered separates.
Bengaluru, 18 October 2026 — Chandi Jadat Vastra by Pujara brought to Day Four of the 27th edition of Bangalore Fashion Week a collection rooted in textile richness and precise surface work. The looks seen on the runway balanced traditional drape with a contemporary sense of line, allowing fabric, colour and embellishment to carry the narrative.
A deep wine-red saree created one of the most arresting silhouettes in the selection, its lustrous finish catching the light as it moved. It was paired with a dark green blouse detailed with pale embroidery, the contrast lending the look a measured opulence. The drape sat close to the body before falling into clean pleats, giving the ensemble a sculptural clarity.
Another look turned to a softer register with a white drape and a V-neck blouse worked with multicoloured embroidery across the bodice and sleeves. The palette felt airy against the runway’s warm lighting, while the layered fall of the saree added movement and ease. The styling kept the focus on the workmanship, with the blouse serving as the visual centre of the look.
Gold-toned detailing appeared in a more elaborate ensemble built around a sheer, lightly structured blouse and a saree or layered drape in pale ivory and metallic accents. The surface work was dense and reflective, with embroidery and embellishment placed to catch the eye without overwhelming the silhouette. The effect was one of intricate texture rather than excess.
The final visible look shifted into a muted taupe-grey shade, with a sleeveless blouse and a fluid drape that fell in soft folds around the body. Its shimmer was restrained, but the fabric retained a polished sheen under the lights. Across the collection, Chandi Jadat Vastra by Pujara favoured a dialogue between tradition and refinement, using colour, embroidery and drape to shape an elegant, composed runway presence.
