Rina Dhaka closes Day Four of BFW 27th Edition in layered ivory and metallic ease
Rina Dhaka’s Day Four showcase at Bangalore Fashion Week moved between ivory drapes, sheer overlays and metallic surface work. The collection balanced softness with structure through fluid skirts, tailored layers and hand-finished detail.
Bengaluru, 18 October 2026 — Rina Dhaka’s showcase for the closing night of Day Four at the 27th edition of Bangalore Fashion Week presented a study in lightness and texture. Across the looks, ivory, sand and metallic tones ran through layered separates, fluid skirts and translucent drapes, creating a palette that felt restrained yet luminous under the runway lights.
The collection leaned into surface interest without losing its sense of ease. A cropped ivory blouse with delicate texture was paired with a tiered skirt finished with subtle embellishment, while another look used a sheer, softly wrapped drape over a fitted base, allowing the movement of the fabric to remain visible with every step. The silhouettes stayed elongated and vertical, often skimming the body before falling into soft volume.
Tailoring appeared in a more relaxed register. One ensemble combined a striped, asymmetrical tunic with glossy trousers, the layering giving the look a fluid, almost undone quality. The shimmer of the fabric contrasted with the matte transparency of adjacent panels, adding depth to the collection’s play of opacity and sheen.
Metallic accents brought sharper definition to the softer pieces. A sleeveless, embellished bodice sat above wide, gathered trousers in a warm gold tone, the look framed by a headband and minimal styling. The mix of embroidery, pleating and drape suggested a collection built around tactile contrast, where handwork and movement carried equal weight.
Seen together, the looks formed a polished evening story with a distinctly contemporary Indian sensibility. Rina Dhaka worked with sheer layers, pleated surfaces and reflective finishes to create pieces that felt airy, composed and quietly ornate, fitting for a closing showcase that held its focus on fabric, line and finish.
